Calendual fuga is a surreal journey of the artist's consciousness through her local environment, the London suburbs. The video is a non-narrative series of images relating more closely to painting and sculpture than to film or television. The movement of the frames up the screen is a reference to Alice in Wonderland's journey down the tunnel to a realm where imagination and irrationality take precedence.
